The Foresteria stands in front of the monastic complex of the ancient Abbey of Chiaravalle di Fiastra, founded in 1142, a few kilometers from the cities of Macerata and Tolentino, access door to the Monti Sibillini and the characteristic medieval villages of the Macerata inland. The Foresteria consists of 24 rooms, where the elegance of the time marries the modernity of the offered services, creating a unique and familiar atmosphere that makes the customer feel at home. The Ristorante del Cistercense (Cistercian Restaurant), open daily, is the novelty of the place, where every day a team of experienced chefs led by the Chef Roberto Sebastianelli, World Champion of cookery from 1998 to 2002, prepare dishes according to ancient recipes of monks, ensuring not only the authenticity of the selected and strictly local products, but also spoiling even the most sensitive and demanding palates. Instead, for those who love to take refuge for a short time in the quiet of a millenariananan Reserve and want to enjoy good food, in the Foresteria there is a Self-Service “Del Viandante” (of the Wayfarer) and the Pizzeria "Del Frate" (of the Monk) where a wide range of typical local dishes and pizzas of all kinds are served, all accompanied by excellent wines produced in our hills. The spectacular nature of the place and the size of the premises that make up the Foresteria, allows the achievement of business meetings and events of all kinds, while in the contiguous mansion, reserved for the Giustiniani Bandini Foundation, it is possible to organize important conferences and meetings, thanks to a large poly-functional hall, also arranged for the simultaneous translation. |
